This past weekend, my good friend Heather, who I met at His Hill, came down to visit. Genevieve and I picked her up at the airport and headed down to the coast for a night. We had a lot of fun, catching up, getting briefly lost in San Antonio and enjoying the beach. I hadn't seen Heather since she was in our wedding, so I was so excited to see her and be able to hang out with her again. We didn't do too much although we did spend quite a few hours at the beach on Saturday and Sunday and I was reminded again of how much I love the beach and the ocean. I have always wanted to live on the beach for a couple months, I don't know if that will ever, but I enjoy every chance I get to visit. We went to Joe's Crab Shack in Corpus for supper and made an all important stop at Marble Slab on our way home. Thanks to Heather and Genevieve for inviting me and making the time most enjoyable.
It is funny how much I can miss Darin, even though I was not gone very long at all. I love every moment that I get to spend with the man that I love and miss him when we are not together, which makes the times together even sweeter.

It is always great to spent time with just the girls. Looks like you enjoyed the short time you spent together.

How fun Jody! I love the beach and the ocean too, mainly cuz I grew up next door to it basically 21 years of my life! I have still told the kids I will take them this summer. Although summer is almost over, I"d better go quick! They love it as much or more than I do!
