I am getting quite frustrated with this loading of pictures business because it is not working! Since blogs without pictures aren't quite nearly as fun, I hope this won't be too boring. So, what have we been up to? Darin's parents left a while back, it was a good visit and it is always fun to have family visit, so they can have a glimpse into our life. Since then, we have been trying to get back into the swing of things, it is working, but with working on a ranch and at a church, there really isn't a normal day. Sometimes, I think that both Darin and I long for the hours of a 9-5 job, but then we realize that a lot of what we do, couldn't get done like that. We also wouldn't get to see each other nearly as much and we wouldn't be able to do random things at random times because we would have to worry about the schedule.
Last Monday was Darin's birthday and we were going to go to Sea World, but the cows had different plans for Darin's birthday. They went visiting to our neighbors property on Sunday night, so Darin spent a lot of Monday fixing our neighbor's fence. So, we made his birthday a two day birthday and went to Sea World on Tuesday instead. It was so much fun, a whole day to hang out the two of us, while doing things other that work! The shows were very enjoyable and the sea lions were our favorites by far. It was a great day and I am glad that we were able to go, even if it wasn't the day that we planned to go.
The rest of the week was filled with horses, church and ranch work. This week has started with much craziness because we are having a problem keeping the sheep alive up at Josh and Katie's. They recently bought a small herd of sheep to keep their grass down while they are gone. They started with 40 and last count we got was around 30, something is eating them, which is very sad indeed. Darin sat out some last night, but was unable to shoot the predator, hopefully that will happen soon and the scared little sheep can sleep soundly.

Oh dear, oh dear! Problems posting pictures(how sad is that) and something eating little sheep! Not good at all.....I hope Darin finds the predator and also that you figure out what the problem is with posting pictures on your blog. Maybe we will have to try to walk you thru it on the phone sometime soon....love you lots and good to hear about your day at Sea World! I kept checking your blog all week to see how it went!
Sea World! That would be a great birthday present!! I'm glad you guys could go and have a day together!! :o)
We can agree with the wishing we had a 9-5 job as well. But then like you said you can`t share those sporatic moments together if you did. Working together does have more perks than drawbacks, in my opinion.
Thanks for the update Jods. Its good to hear all the things going on in your life even if there isn't any pictures.
Hey, did you find who or what was getting to the sheep?
We loved seeing you guys last weekend. Please do come by again anytime. The kids especially enjoyed it and still appreciate Darin's contribution to their "business venture"of selling seeds. :-)
We'll see you hopefully again soon.
At least at the concert.
