Hi! You guys don't know me, but we know ALOT of the same people! I am friends of the Leiningers (John, Jim, Dan, Pete... the whole lot :)and their brood. Jim was my basketball coach. John is one of my alltime FAV people in the world... the list could go on! Anyhow, I wanted to write and say hi. I was skimming through your posts (found on Josh and Katie's blog) and say that you, Jody, were at His Hill at some point?? When was that? Bible school? Camp? "The Hill" has such a special place in my heart. I grew up there... started going to camp when I was too young to stay over night. then went every year till I was 16 I think... started going on overseas mission trips when I was 16. Anyhow, I have such fond memories of His Hill... many of the people, speaker and counselors impacted my life so much... Anyhow, hope we get to meet you guys sometime! My husband, John, got to hunt out at John's ranch a couple of years ago and it was THE highlight of his time in Texas! We live in Berlin, Germany now. Our main blog is www.xanga.com/johnandchels Give the L's a huge hello from us!! Chelsea Hudson
hi jody! thanks for the reply! Yeah hopefully we can stop by sometime in late Dec. and say hi if anyone is around. We came to Berlin in Feb of 2005 for my husband's job. he works in construction with a company that is building the new US Embassy here. We really like the city, although the winter is tough. I am a texas girl and no sunlight just doesn't compute. :) we are headed back to texas Dec 26 and john flies back here on the 31st and Adelaide and I stay in TX until Jan 25. So it would be fun to hook up sometime. Talk to you later!!
Oh my word. Some of these pictures Jodi are so amazing. I like to look at the sunset because it is so peaceful, even though I wasn't there. Thanks for sharing them.
