It seems that I have gotten another friendly reminder to update, I don't know why, it hasn't been that long. Anyway, sometimes I wonder why I don't update more frequently, but then I remember there is not too much new stuff to write about. Things that have been going on are that both Darin and I have been under the weather this week, so that meant, not a lot of time for much other than the normal routine. I think we were in bed most nights around nine, crazy I know, but that is how it went. Something exciting that is happening today is that Rachelle, my roommate second semester of my second year at the hill is coming to Texas for a month and a half, it is kind of a trial for maybe longer stay. She is going to be helping Darin with a lot of the horse stuff that he can't get done because of ranch work and church. You might be asking, is that not what you do, well yes, but not to the exent that she will be. I can help with stalls, feeding, and those kind of things, but there are just not enough hours in the day to get everything do. We are really excited for her to come down, it will be great to see her since I haven't seen her since our wedding, and it was pretty hard to catch up with anyone on that day. Other random things, the weather has been beautiful and by that I mean in the 80s and sunny, it was even suppose to get up to 90 yesterday, I don't know if it did or not, but nevertheless, it has felt wonderful. Then last night a northerner blew in and it probably won't get over 70, oh the hard life of Texas weather. I know that is rubbing it in for those of you in monsoon season, but I could not resist. As for now, that is all that I can think of, so good bye for now and do not forget to remember.
PS I almost forgot, Katie and the girls came and visited last weekend and it was a great time to catch up with her and to see how the girls have grown. Unfortunately I didn't get the camera out, maybe Katie will post some pictures and I can steal them. It was so cute because we had the kids riding Tommy, sometimes two at a time, even Aubrey got invovled. Katie it was great to see you and I am looking forward to seeing you soon during Thanksgiving.

Good to read a new post Jods! Thanks for helping us catch up....not good that you and Darin are still not feeling great but hopefully with an added pair of hands around the ranch you will get a bit more rest! Talk to you soon!
We had a great time with y'all too. I'm glad we got to spend a semi-significant amount of time together. Check out my blog for some pretty cute pictures (if I do say so myself!)of the girls on Tommy. We'll have to do that again soon!
Happy Trails,
Katie
