Almost Four Weeks

I know this isn't a picture of Caily, but I thought it was a good one of Darin and his dad, enjoying each others company and being able to sing together.

Caily got to meet her other set of Grandparents this week and I think a good time was had by all. She also was baby sat for the first time and Darin and I were able to go out on a date.

Caily is doing well and I cannot believe that she is almost four weeks old. Today she has seemed to find her voice and has made noises other than unhappy noises. She was laying on a chair beside me as I was eating my breakfast and she was making cute noises. She had her four week appointment this afternoon and everything is looking great. She is now 9 lbs 8 oz and 22.5 inches long, 65 % for weight and 90% for height, she is quite the little munchkin. Anyway, I know this is short, but I wanted to quickly post while I had a moment.

Thanks for posting pictures today Jods! So fun to see Darin and his Dad singing...and Caily with her other grandparents! What a rich little girl to have four grandparents and 7 greatgrandparents who love her and pray for her!

Also neat to hear how her appointment went! Good that she is growing.....What a sweetheart!

It was great to see the pictures, Jody. We made it home safely (sans luggage, though---it got left in Dallas) around midnight. The luggage arrived here mid-afternoon. Thanks for a wonderful time. You and Darin are doing a great job patenting little Caily. Wow--already over 9 lbs! That's great. We look forward to seeing you three really soon! We love you!

Aren't baby noises just the best sound in the world? I think I felt the baby move today. But it was only once so I'm not convinced in was real. Hopefully soon.
