Okay, so I am a little late on the three weeks old post, but I have been waiting for our camera to make it back to our house from the barn, so that I could post with a picture. Well, I just went to get the camera, but the little one is sleeping and if try to move her, I think that she will think it is time to eat and not pose very well for pictures, so those will have to come later on today. Life in the Miles' household is going well, still sleepy, but I think that might be a constant companion for awhile. We are greatly enjoying every moment that we get with our little girl. Everyone keeps telling us how quickly time goes by, so we are trying to treasure all the time we have, even in the middle of the night, cuddling her as I try to coax a burp out of her. Darin's parents are here, which is fun for Caily to meet her other grandparents and they are just as enamoured with her as my parents were.
Caily is doing well, the spitting up had slowed down a lot until yesterday, but I am sure that it will slow down again soon. Twice this morning she spat up and it came out her nose, which looked anything but comfortable. She is definitely more attentive to her surroundings these days and when awake, looks around at her surroundings. She recognizes both Darin and my voice and often tries to find us with her eyes when she hears us and she tends to like to be where the action is, which brings a funny story. We were eating lunch and she was lying on the couch about ten feet away and started crying, Darin talks to her from the table and she immediately quits crying and turns her head in his direction. It is amazing to us that at three weeks old, she has already figured that out.
Anyway, I don't know if this is making much sense anymore, so I think that I will stop for now, hopefully I will post pictures soon.
