Life this week

Reese at home in her flower pot. We tried to move her up to the big house with the pet deer, but she wanted nothing to do with them and ended up on the wrong side of the high fence, which is not a good place for a lone lamb baaing her lungs out to be. She mostly hangs out with us and the dogs, I am pretty sure she thinks that she is a dog.

Daddy's little helper. Caily was quite intrigued by Darin working on the floor and wanted to help.

Daddy's girl. She said "Hi Dada" yesterday, with a little prompting from me, but she said it and it was quite adorable.
Swinging is one of her favorite things to do these days.
Who says that standing in a swing is a bad idea?  Caily decided to stand once the swing had slowed down a bit.  She sat down after the picture, she sure keeps me on my toes, constantly catching and grabbing limbs as she goes diving off of things, sometimes I am successful and others, not so much.  Yesterday, she did a face plant into our cement stairs, which left her forehead, nose and lip looking a little worse for wear.

We sure love our little one.

New things on Caily "trick" list:
-saying uh-oh, hi, pup-pups (for the dogs)
-waving at any moving vehicle or when prompted to say hello or good bye
-standing alone for many moments
-climbing or attempting to climb any and everything

Caily has had a pretty good week although I am sure that she has been working on some teeth, so that has made for some less sleep and more clinginess. That is all right, we are blessed by our sweet little one. Each time I hear of someone in a heart-wrenching situation, I thank the Lord for the my blessings and hold the loves of my life a little tighter.

Texas is still oh so far away, but these darling pictures and captions make is seem a wee bit closer. Thank you thank you Jody for taking the time to post each week...it sure makes the pain of being so far away a little bit more bearable. Love you all three!

I would have to agree with Trudy, Texas is so very far away, but the pictures are so awesome! You take amazing picture Jods...thanks for taking the time to post. I love just looking at them all.

Seeing Reece in the pot made me smile as well....who wants to be with stupid sheep when you can hang out with the Miles and the dogs. :-)
