One Week. . . Three Years. . . Eleven Months

This past week has been quite eventful and busy, which is why there has been a lack of posting. First, starting a week ago today, our newest nephew was born, Jaxon Kade, we are very excited for Jamie and Megan. Congratulations to your new family of four and we can hardly wait to meet the newest little one, hopefully one day soon. Next was our third anniversary on Wednesday! We got to go out twice this week, just the two of us, it was fun to hang out together. On Wednesday, we did the normal movie and dinner and then last night we did something different. We headed into a near by town, had supper and then went to this theatre that we had recently heard about. It is called the Rockbox and it is a musical comedy routine that was really fun and entertaining. Last, Caily is now eleven months, which is quite crazy to think about. So, this on top of the normal added up to be busy, but fun at the same time.

If you are around Caily for any length of time, you will see how much she loves stuffed animals. She cuddles them, plays with them, drags them behind her around the house, and lays on them when she is tired.

These next pictures are from one of our times down at the river. It has been in the mid to high 90's all week, so it has been nice to escape down to the water ever so often.
Mostly, Caily and I sit on our blanket and enjoy the cool breeze.  She finds little things to play with and I watch her or read.  In the picture above she is trying to get the stick in the sippy cup and this task kept her occupied for quite some time.
Pretty flowers to some, weeds to others.
I love how the sunlight streams through the trees at a certain time in the late afternoon.
Watching Jake enjoy the water.
And he is back and Caily is onto playing with the rocks.
For the past three weeks, we have gotten hay in, so yesterday I decided to document some of the process.  Before it could go into the hay barn above, some had to get loaded onto a trailer, which worked out well.  One hundred bales were bought so that was enough to take off the top layer.
Caily supervising.
Little Reese thinks she just might have arrived in heaven, all the alfalfa she can eat.

One by one the bales are thrown off the truck and stacked into the barn.  I think we are getting two more truck loads and that will hopefully keep us and everyone who buys from us, stocked for the winter.
This is a picture from our night out yesterday. It is a little crooked because it was on timer and put on the truck, oh well.  I wanted to get a picture of the two of us and that it is.  At times I still sit back and am amazed at the wonderful man that God brought into my life.  Thank you, Darin, for loving me and Caily more and more each day.  I am so blessed to be married to you and to be able to spend the rest of my life with my best friend, protector, beloved and the one who knows me the best and stills loves me the same.  Thank you for all that you do and all that you are.

PS I love you.

It is 5:21 a.m. Sunday morning and I just thought I'd check the blog. I thought I had checked it several times yesterday, so I was so thrilled to see the new updates and pictures. They are all wonderful. My favorites are: the way the sunlight peeks through the trees down at the river, Caily sticking the stick through the cup-hole, the one in her stroller "supervising" the "hay day", and the one of you and Darin at the end. They are all just precious. Thanks for taking the time each week to post. It really means more than you could ever know. We love you all and Happy Belated Anniversary...we just hit 34 years on May 24th...God is so good!

You are so blessed to live in the beautiful area of the country that you do! I wish it were me (I always wanted to be a farm girl)!
