Not one to sit still very long for a picture, she is off and crawling, even on not the softest surfaces...
Adjustments are made to try to protect the little knees, but one goal is in mind...
Climbing the railroad tie bordering our yard...
Figuring out how to get all body parts up to the right level can be complicated and tend to give Mommy a heart attack (but notice that she is still snapping pictures, obviously not too concerned) ...
Enjoying the view...
Ah, perfect.
On to the other love of my life, Darin and I decided that it was time to cut his hair. It was in need of some sort of cut and Darin always like to get his money's worth, so I chopped it all off. It was rather fun, it being my first attempt at a hair cut, although I was quite nervous. Here's the before picture.
And the after shots with him loving on our little one. I think when Darin and Caily look off the same direction the similarity between the two is quite striking.
The rest of these pictures are taken on Mother's Day.
Waving at Daddy.
Practicing our skills.
Wow, all by herself!

Jody, your daughter is GORGEOUS! What a beautiful family you have, congrats :)
Such precious pictures...and she looks so grown up in that darling dress! You did a great job on the haircut, Jody! Thanks so much for posting! Loved all the pictures and all the words! Love you all too!
Wow, how exciting she is starting to walk a bit! Very cool. What a cute little dress for Mother's Day. I do hope you had a good day. Nice job Darin's hair. It looks good and I have to agree it was definitely time for a new doo.
love ya
Awesome pictures Jods!! What a great view of life from Caily's point of view...I just discovered them here at work and before you know it everyone had gathered around the computer as we laughed at her climbing up on the railroad ties! And her first steps....so neat...
You and Caily both look great on your Mother's Day pictures....and I heartily agree, you did an awesome job on Darin's haircut. Definitely an improvement...you have a new job! Hairdresser! You Go Girl!
I just watched the video of Caily laughing. I can see why it brought tears to your eyes when you first heard her laugh. It is a beautiful sound!! It's fun watching her grow up even from miles (haha, Miles, get it?!?) away.
I've been cutting Tim's hair for a while now, and I was really nervous the first time - which was last summer, right before we went to Minnesota for a family wedding - it HAD to turn out well. Thankfully, it did. You did a good job. :)
See you never.
