Laughing Girls

I couldn't resist this movie and finally had the time to put it together, I hope you enjoy the giggles that Darin gets from his two girls. I know that it looks like Caily is going to bounce Lexi's head off and that she lands on her, but no babies were hurt in the making of this film.

At this moment, Caily is yelling from her room and still not asleep, it is an hour after she went to bed, heres hoping it doesn't last much longer. An improvement is that she didn't get out of bed, she just hasn't gone to sleep yet. A funny Caily story, this afternoon, while she was suppose to be going to sleep, she all of a sudden shows up beside me and says "I wake up!", not so much.
I just went to but her on the potty and she told me, "want to wake up more". At this moment, she is sitting on the potty, eating because she had to go potty and said she was hungry. She really did have to pee and I think the hungry thing is a ploy, but as little as she eats, it is a real possibility. We are having many battles on the sleep front and have been since the month before Lexi was born and I went to the hospital. We were kind of hoping that it would go away after everything settled down, but it has been six months and she is still not sleeping well. She use to sleep great, 8-8 if not later and 2-3 hour naps every day. Anyway, I should probably get back to her and see if she is done, but I wanted to get this posted. Enjoy!

I know exactly how you feel about the sleep issue. Hayden did the exact same thing. He suddenly stopped sleeping a month before i had Mariah. He still won't sleep through the night and it's been almost 1 year. I did read somewhere that lots of kids will seem like they're ready to give up their afternoon nap around 2 or 2 1/2 but if you keep making them take it then they'll go back to being good nappers at close to 3 years. That seems to be true for Hayden. For at least 6 months we battled nap time every single day, then suddenly he started going down easily again. We still have to lay by his bed during nap time and nighttime to get him to fall asleep without coming out 25 times though. I've also talked with several other parents of 2 year old's who have the same problem. I guess it might be a 2 year old milestone of sorts.

Too funny! Thanks for sharing...it was so fun to hear the girls giggling.

As for the sleep issues, just don't give up. She will go thru a growth spurt again soon and will sleep more then. In the meantime, remember you are still the boss. I remember having sleep issues with Jamie around this age too and we told him he could ask for one thing after he went to bed.....after that we weren't going to come into his room and he wasn't allowed out. That seemed to work.

TOO cute! Giggles with daddy is SO fun. And all that jumping should've made that little girl tired out. Would have me!
