I cannot believe how much our girls have grown over the past couple of months. Lexi is about to be two and Caily to be four, they are getting to be so big! They love to play together, although the definitely have their moments of screaming and pulling on toys. Lexi tends to give in more quickly and has shown her big heart when Caily is either getting in trouble for not sharing or grabbing something from Lexi and throwing a fit. She will often bring whatever is the cause of the fit and give it to Caily. It is very sweet and shows a tenderness to her.
They love to dance together in princess dresses and hold hands while they spin. At least once a morning the show up in their dresses ready to dance.
At the moment we have around 80 baby chickens and they love to check on them and hold them, especially Caily. Lexi enjoys it, but is not exactly the most gentle on them at all times. I think they would both be content if we spent the majority of the day outside.
Lexi is talking more and more these days and we are starting to understand her more as well. She will attempt just about any word you ask her to and often surprises us with big words, like gymnastics. Lexi has turned into quite the cuddle bug and loves to be held, especially when we walk around outside.
Lexi often has quite the mischievious look in her eyes and we are never sure what she is going to do or say next! Caily is loving gymnastics and has a huge smile on her face the whole time. She will often do gymnastics with Lexi at home and it cracks me up. She also loves to color and her artwork is taking more of a shape these days.
Both girls love their Daddy and can hardly wait for him to get home. He gets quite the welcome each and everyday with shrieks of excitement and big hugs and kisses.
Caily has really started to enjoy playing with some girls from church and talks about her friends often. It is cute to watch her develop more in social situations.
The Lord has blessed us with two very sweet girls that love to live life!
They love to climb on the outside of our porch and here they are showing me how they can put their legs in the air!
Nothing like a handsome Daddy with his little girls!
