Last week we all headed off to Oklahoma City for the NRHA futurity (a big reining horse show). We left on Wednesday and came back on Sunday, it was a good chance to get away from the every day routine. Caily did great on the drive up and slept most of the way, but on the way home, she did alright. I think both of us wanted to be home when we were in the Dallas area, but with a little bit of coaxing she fell asleep. I can't believe we have a five month old, there are often times where I look at her and am amazed at how big she is getting. She is working on sitting by herself these days and is getting very close to mastering this skill. She is also getting very good at reaching for things and grabbing them, which has surprised both Darin and myself. She spilled Darin's water at a restaurant with this very skill. Another thing that is exciting is that in one week, we will be flying up to see my family and then in another week, Darin will be joining us! I am looking forward to the visit, not so much to the flight by myself on the way up, I am hoping that she sleeps well. Anyway, I need to get going, but I wanted to post some pictures because it had been awhile.
Watching some two year old horses being ridden before they were to be sold.
One of Daddy's best tricks to get a giggle.
Sleeping during the finals of the show (in a very loud arena)
Having fun being home again.

Great pictures Jods! Thank you so much for posting them...I can hardly believe it, only 7 more sleeps before get to see you and Caily again!!!
Oh yes! I remember those, "move every breakable/spillable thing away from her at the table" days! Fun stuff. It's good to hear from you. Hope your trip is great. Maybe we'll make it down to Texas in February or something, and Caily and Campbell can meet! Do you think she's too old for him? JUST KIDDING!! :)
