All Tuckered Out

Jake expresses our feelings quite well. It is the end of a busy week, full of learning new things and getting settled into our new place. I took this picture at lunch one day and Jake was pretty much dead to the world, except if he hears one of us move, especially if it is Darin. We have worked quite a bit on getting things set up for the horses, which means I have been outside most of the days this week. I enjoy this greatly, but the housework suffers because I am not inside long enough to do it. So, I have dedicated Monday and Tuesday to catching up on housework and laundry.
We have some new additions to the ranch that we found today, two new lambs, born within the last day or two. They are the cutest thing and it is amazing how quickly they grow because the older lambs look huge next to the newborns. We were going to attempt to move the sheep today to a different pasture, but with these new additions, it made it nearly impossible because the new mothers were not very willing to join the herd or go anywhere with the herd. Our most recent count of baby animals on the ranch is seven lambs and three calves.
Good bye for now.

Hey Jods and Darin,
It is so fun looking on your blog daily to find out the latest news. It's fun to read what both of you write. Please keep it up.
