What we've been up to

This last weekend has been rather full, but enjoyable. Our good friends Josh and Katie were in for thanksgiving and we were able to catch up with them. We were also glad to be able to help them out and babysat their youngest, Aubrey for Friday night, so they could celebrate their fifth anniversary, but it turned out they had to pick up Taylor because she got really sick. Well, at least they were able to have a date and one less child for the night. We had a lot of fun with Aubrey and Jake was great with her, we are excited for when we have kids because he is an extra set of eyes always watching out.

On Sunday, was Jeff and Ruth's wedding, yeah, for them finally being able to get married. It has been a long road for them to get to this point, but they were both thankful that it has finally come and they are together. Darin was the worship leader in the wedding and he sang while they were signing the registry. It all went beautifully and it was a fun time to catch up with people.
Last night, we had Dan and Amanda over for dinner, so we could hang out some before they headed back to Abbotsford. After a slight detour (2 hour), they finally made it and we had a great time hanging out and catching up. Which brings me to today, which is Darin and my year and a half anniversary!

Aubrey and Jake checking each other out.

The happy, yet tired, newlyweds.

Darin and myself, yes I am wearing his coat, I was chilling and it was much needed extra warmth.

Amanda and Dan were down for the wedding, Amanda was a bridesmaid.
