Oh the joys of Texas

The beginning of this week had me dreaming of spring time and I couldn't bear to be inside. It was in the 70's from Monday to Wednesday and we all took advantage of the sunshine and warmth, including having a picnic on Tuesday. I had gone exploring during the morning and had come across a perfect place for a picnic, so I decided that we would have one for lunch. We headed down to the spot and had some uninvited guests who tried to join in on the fun, the angus cows. They hadn't been their in the morning when I had been there, but they had moved and thought that we might have some food for them. We didn't and they just watched us eat from a distance. Today it is back to Texas winter weather, but that is alright I guess, since it is still February.

This is a picture of Spooks, I was out taking pictures of all our animals and I thought this was a really cute one of him.

Hey Jody! You quite possibly don't remember me, but I found your site through a bunch of other sites I read occasionally. My name is Karyn(was Lucas), and we were in PMCC together...WAY back in the day! I am SO jealous of where you live. Gosh, it's been forever that I've wanted to live on a ranch and have horses. Anyway, good to see you're doing well. I've also found a few other former PMCCers on Blogger. Pretty neat!
