Adventures in sidewalk chalk!

One of the things that we can still do outside even when it is so hot is sidewalk chalk. Both girls really enjoying coloring and the chance to get out of the house.
They do really well at playing together and truly seem to love each other, which is always fun to watch.

Concentrating so hard on coloring.

I don't know why I love these pictures so much, you really cannot even see their faces, I think it just catches a lot of how they are these days.
Lexi has decided to start talking and will try to repeat most anything you say to her. Words she says on a somewhat consistent basis:
-Da (Daddy)
-ball
-baby and Belle for the baby's name
-a version of Sky
-tuck (truck)
-bye and hi (with the longest southern drawl possible!)
-Taily (Caily)
-Mama (on occasions when she really wants something)
-cheese (please or cheese)
-juice
- a form of blanket
-book
-no no
-poo poo while grabbing at her diaper and then she wants to sit on the potty, she hasn't done anything on the potty, but she usually has a dirty diaper
-chick chicks (chickens)
-good gurl (good girl)
-hot and hat, both sound rather similar

That is all I can think of at the moment and I need to go deal with a one year old that doesn't want to go to sleep and a three year old that is demanding milk!
