The RV that we are borrowing/renting from friends has been great so far, one week in. It has a bunk room in the back, with 3 bunks and a bunch of storage. The girls each have a bunk and Colson is in a mini pack 'n play between the bunks. It has worked out well so far, except getting to clothes can be complicated with moving Colson's bed back and forth. Next is the living/eating area and then is our bedroom. Off of the main area is the bathroom, which is teeny, but doable. There is an outside kitchen which we have started to use a bit for the extra storage. I have been surprised by the amount of storage and so far have felt like there is room for everything. We have been taking time to organize, get use to the new normal and figure out how to make everything work. Things can get pretty messy at time, but the wonderful thing is that is doesn't take very long to clean up.

This crazy new adventure
Over the past month our family has gone through some major changes that started coming about in the summer. We put our house on the market in August and so started the purging of stuff. We were showing the house for about two months with multiple showings a week and some times a couple in one day. It was a crazy time to keep up with all the housework and get out with the kids and the dog. We received an offered and it was close enough to our asking price that we accepted and were set to close October 30. That is when the real fun started, packing. Not only were we packing up our house, but we were packing for two separate things. Our plan was to move into a RV for anywhere from 6 months-2 years. This involved much planning and trimming down of stuff, then weighing out what we really need to store for that long and getting rid of a whole lot of stuff. My mind felt like it might explode at many points and our children watched too many movies to count, but somehow we got it all together with much prayer and help from people around us and moved out October 29th. We said good bye to our first house that we brought Bria home to and Colson was born in. Not many tears were shed because of the excitement of the adventure to come. Oh, forgot one major point. We purchased 5.77 acres of land that has nothing but trees, dirt and rocks on. So, while we are saving, saving, saving we will also be clearing and prepping the land. At some point in the process we will start building a house and doing as much of the work ourselves.
